Did ya'll see the yellow Shelby pacing the CART race a couple of weeks ago. I think it was in San Diego.

GT500 is around 43K list, however ADM... additional Dealer Markup.. has been running 15 to 20 K above that.

I knew the price was going to be up there, but that really isn't terribly bad for that much power in a factory car.

NOW this IS News...

Shelby Autos President, Amy Boylan about the possibility of a future GT350. She said that they have studied reviving the GT350 nameplate, however, it is still very much a concept idea. Interestingly, she recently posted on TheMustangSource that the Shelby GT can be ordered with an optional factory installed (by Shelby) supercharger. A 2007 factory supercharged Shelby GT? Kewl..... 325 with a 100 HP bump from a charger.... sweet...

I spoke with a couple of different Ford dealerships abt the Shelby, so far not one dealer has one yet. They are all over ebay though!!
From what I was told, they're gonna be around the $60 to $70K area.

Woody Anderson said they were gonna sell theirs to the highest bidder.

Another dealer told me they would take a $5K deposit, order it as you want, then it will be delivered to your door in a "minimun" of 9 months.
All of this I was told Tuesday.

Don't know 'bout you guys, but for $70K (even 60!) it would have to be something that you aren't gonna see at every other red light!

Different car... you are talking the new GT 500, this is the Shelby GT with the 3 valve 4.6, 325 HP, not the 5.4 Supercharged 500 HP engine.....
The GT500 is comanding 15 to 20K over MSRP... had the option for one that I sold for 12K.

The Shelby GT, a Mustang GT with a FRP CAI, and Spring Kit will not be available until Jan and it will be built by Shelby American, unlike the GT500 which is all Ford built. The News above is that Shelby American is going to offer a Supercharged version.

Thanks for the info!

It's a shame when you can't get the information like that from 3 different Dealers!! Then they keep calling wanting to know what you decided??!!

We decided to go an entirely different route.
Picked it up today. You guys will see it soon!!
Thanks again for the info!!!
