Lacey's Spring car and bike show

Hello,
Lacey's Spring in thinking of having a car and bike show to benefit the volunteer fire dept sometime in may. Any help would be appreciated.
Guess I'd better introduce myself.
I'm a new member, own a 2003 300B Mercury Marauder. I don't race much anymore, because my reflexes can be timed with a calendar. Still like fast cars though.

First, if trying to plan an event, look at the May 2006 calendar to see what was happening on any particular weekend you are thinking about. I remember off hand that there was 1 event happening in Huntsville on the 2nd weekend in May (Mustang/Ford event), and were 2 events in Huntsville happening on the 3rd weekend in May (Super Chevy Show at the Speedway, and Antique & Classic event at the Depot).

After you pick a day, get the information out there as fast as you can. Be the first one to post and start passing out flyers - before another event decides on the day you picked.
