Spring is Here!

Okay, well maybe not since we had a chance of a snow storm last weekend, but it sure feels like it today! I've noticed A LOT of people out and about today and heard there was a pretty good pack of cars cruising around the Athens area.

I haven't been able to leave the house, but I have gotten outside--to work on my car. What have you been doing in this great weather?

I came home for the weekend and got both my Mustangs washed and drove them around a tiny bit. Got a cover for the 67 so it won't get covered in dust (share a 30x50 shop with my dad who does a lot of woodworking). Might wash and wax up the SRT tomorrow before I go back to Martin. Maybe. Maybe.

Wanted to get some pictures today but was lazy and didn't make the time to do so.

worked on my fresh water tank. did some modding on the rim support so i could fit a 350 gph filter on it. (understock, overfilter ) then played with the rugrats outside for a little while.

Went to Monte Sano with the fiance and dog today after work. Saw a LOT of bikes/cars out.

I could have swore I saw you in your Porsche today, Samir.

I washed my Mustang and did a little piddling on my old pickup.Played with the dog some in the sunshine. I sure will hate it when it turns back cold again next week.

It was definitely a day for it, but not this time. It's still sitting in storage awaiting all the work to be done to it. One way you'll know it's me, mine has the rs60 front lip spoilers like on the special edition. As far as I know, it's one of the few black ones in the nation that have had it added on.

Regular 987 Boxster front:

There's a few black Boxsters in town. A couple of times I've looked to see if someone was driving my car.

Changed the oil in the Sunfire, then decided to pull the Fiero out for a spin. It has been couped up in the garage all winter. Had no sooner got it out, then had two cop cars follow me all the way around research park! Think they were more interested in figuring out WHAT my car was instead of anything else. Stopped at a light, stuck my hand up, smiled real big, and waved with all my fingers.
This Spring/Summer should be real fun!

Change the oil on the S2000, washed and detailed it. Then went out to see how many times I could get near 9K. Wow about 20 times. What a cool engine.

Yep, crazy weather at it again--"Wednesday -- Much colder. Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of snow in the morning. Highs in the upper 30s. Chance of snow 20 percent."

I wish I had the Porsche running and time--I would've joined you! (except I only go to 7k )

It's actually a vinyl cling. Looks great and removable!

And you can support HCS by ordering a pair of them for $4:

If I knew how to post pictures I would, but I am terrible with computers(why I have an apple). It was nothing special to anyone besides me, nothing like Anthony's 350z.. just a datona blue 2003 touring. I traded it for a 2006 Lemans sunset orange 2006 350z ) Nothing special to most people, just to me

If you want to email me pictures you want posted, I'll post them for you. I'm actually working on a system where people can just email a certain address and they'll automatically go into a 'User Uploaded Pictures' gallery.
