Rentable garage space

Anyone know of such a thing around the region? I desire to (one day) own more autos than I will ever have space for :-)

Lightbulb You can do it!

You can store vehicles at storage units. Some will let you store them outside if you just need a place to keep it while having a house built or something. Other's will let you keep it in an actual storage unit. I know there are several vehicles in one of the Public Storage's here in town and Uncle Bob's storage has vehicles parked outside. The trick is to letting them use their electricity.

Good luck on the car collection.

The problem with these is the electricity. If you can't drive your cars more than a few times a year (or even once every few years as it's become for me), you need to have a battery tender. But most of the storage places don't provide power in their smaller units. You'll need 'enclosed rv storage'. These can come with power, and you can put a number of cars in one. This is what I use for a good portion of mine.

I rent a space from my apt complex, not sure if they're open for renting from the general public though. It's over here in Providence. I'll be happy to check on it if you'd like. I know that they have open spots now, and they're about to have another since I've got nothing to fill it with. :/

I've looked into spots at apartment complexes, and there's usually a waiting list for these units. I highly doubt they'll let anyone from the outside rent one without an apartment lease as well.
