1950's model convertible needed for a commercial Friday, March 18th

From an email:

"Classic Car Owners,

We have been contacted by Family Savings Credit Union and they need a 1950's model convertible (any make) for a commercialTHIS FRIDAY, MARCH 18TH!

The commercial will take place in front of the former White Palace Cafe on Broad Street in downtown Gadsden. The car will just need to be sat in by the actors, not driven. Filming should only take 30 minutes.

$100 will be given to you by Family Savings Credit Union for use of you car!

This should have been emailed to the clubs in the Gadsden area, there are several. Too bad they did not get this information to us a few days earlier. If we had more notice, could have possibly located someone. Hopefully they did.

Oh, Samir, you need to get out of the Huntsville area once in awhile!!!

Here are just 3 from on-line. There are many others around Gadsden and Anniston. Although I do not know how current the contact information is here. Clubs change officers every year, you know. I keep the past 3 years of flyers to be able to look up contact information, since it changes so often.

This is the only one I've ever found. It's hard for anyone to get in touch with organizations that don't have some sort of web presence since phone numbers, emails and other 'single point-of-contact' info can get outdated really fast. The inside line on these organizations goes back to the pre-Internet days when it was truly word of mouth.
