My friend wants me to go to it this year and I really want to but it's going to be hard to get the 67 up there considering school starts on the 22nd and my birthday is the 28th. Might try and go to it for my birthday present to myself.

Somernites Cruise-In

Guys and gals, judging by the pictures from past shows this looks to be a really good event to take in. This month they are featuring the MUSTANG and last year they had over 460 in attendance, now add all the other makes and models that were there and I'd say that's a pretty good turn out. I know Christina and I are going, we'll be heading up that Wednesday morning. Come join us.

This is a HUGE event, and if you've never been, you're going to really enjoy it. It's a trek from here for just a weekend event, but those that I've spoke to that have gone have nothing but great things to say about it.

I just noticed that there were two of these on the calendar, so I merged them. Hopefully everyone can go together as a group.

Yahoo maps says about 5 1/2 hours, I don't think it's that far. Thanks for combining them, Samir.

I haven't been, but I know several members on here have. Maybe someone can chime in with a realistic driving expectation.

And thank you for posting it! It's really silly for a bunch of people from this area going and not even knowing of each other until they meet there. One of Huntsville Car Scene's core principles is to exist to facilitate connecting people of like minded interests. Then we all have more fun!

I just realized there was even another listing for this event, so more merging. You'll have to mark yourself attending again. Sorry about that.
