VIP Style

What are your thoughts on this style of customization and have you seen any local rides that have this style?

See my issue with this is there's a very fine line on VIP. Honestly the first car i posted is really more my style. I'm not in to -8 degree's of camber.

Yeah that first pic you posted isn't bad at all. Just i don't see wearing out tires on the inside tread only. I like to have all the rubber touching the ground .

My thoughts--another trendy fad that will have a minute lasting impact in years to come.

I guess this local Maserati was doing VIP Style before it was even called such. This is from last year:

Yeah but the thing is I actually like that one, especially the rear offset. The fact of people slamming them all the way down till the wheels tuck without true camber is what gets me. I guess to each their own tho .

I like the stock wheels better then the ones on that Maserati but that's just me. I really wasn't even that fond of those cars until a friends dad got one. The car sounds amazing.

VIP style looks great on the right cars.

Here are some pics of some amazing looking VIP cars from the pre-spring IA meet at ZEN motorsports:*http://www.flickr.com/photos/clc34/s...th/5632090095/

I just can't get into this "stanced" stuff. To each his own though but I've got a feeling it's on its way out anyway.

I'm not a big fan of it either. But it does look good on certain cars. some people take it too far, it is highly impractical and tire wear is crazy. Tires are expensive...atleast mine are...LOL

Well I would think that stretching the tire would be good for the sidewalls. I'm just not into all that. Yeah I want a good stance but I want complete function as well without having to worry about something going wrong. Plus of how much the lip is exposed kinda sucks if you even tap a curb.

Wow, Cheesepuff! That's what I call a perfectly-fit wheel and tire combo! I can understand that negative camber if you've got airbags and it's resting on the ground when parked, but why would you take a performance luxury sedan and drastically alter the handling with so much camber?

I like aspects of it. I like the fact that they're customizing the large luxury sedans but the crazy camber/tire stretch is a bit much. I wouldn't mind something like a older 740iL slammed down with some nice fat chrome rims but wouldn't give up tire width and handling to do it.

I love the cars in the Transporter movies and the Audi from Ronin. That's VIP style to me.
