Tire repair question

I have a leak in my valve stem on a rear tire.
I am running 305 50 15 and it is a deep chrome rim.

The stem looks like it screws in with a jam nut against the rim.

Anyone know where I can get it checked without
it costing a fortune AND they have the correct equipment
that wont damage the rim or tire if they have to take it off?

It took 3 days after I last drove it to go down, then I tried to air
it up and 1st time it leaked out like there was no stem,
2nd time just slowly bubbled at the base of the stem.

Question Not tire but tube question

Went to NTB, then TopLine but no luck.

Turns out my back tires are tubes....don't know why
unless it has to do with the size.

The tires are 305 50 R15 but now they tell me I
need a new tube.

Anyone know where one this size can be found locally?

Why NTB?

I started going to NTB after my tires were slashed
and had a blank check to get them fixed. I put
Michelins on my daily ride and liked them. When they wore
thin at 90,000 miles I ordered another set- from
TireRack.com and had NTB mount them.

TopLine was swamped this afternoon, I had to wait 10
minutes just to ask if they sold tubes.

Any suggestions?

Talk to Luke at Wheel Fix-It. I'm sure he'd know where to get tubes as he mounts all sorts of stuff.

Wheel-Fix-it.....DID!

You guys did a great job and kept the quoted price even though you had to do a little more work.

Instead of having to order a new oversized tube they were able to install
a new valve stem and fix the problem.

Saturday I drove from South Huntsville to Madison for a company picnic and then to Arab for the cruise-in at Son's BBQ, no problems at all.

It rides great. Thanks for asking.
