Because that's what Richard does, lol. He buys something and then gets bored or changes his mind. At least it's not the Benz getting the boot!

I bought my modded c5 Corvette from Richard and that was one of the cars he kept for a long time. All the cars he's owned have always been some of the cleanest cars you'll ever find anywhere.

I was the 2nd owner of this car back in 1999. I sold it during my divorce to a friend of mine with 29k (approx) miles on the car. She always said she'd give me first right of refusal.
.
Fast forward to now.
.
She may end up losing her job and her and her husband wanted to eliminate one of their 3 cars/insurance/etc. It was in such good shape, I figured I'd help her out by buying it back. If it sells, good, if not, I can't complain. I would much rather have a manual car for a 3rd car, thus I'm open to trades. If it doesn't sell soon, I may end up trading it in if I find something of interest.
.
A few other details: Last oil change before I bought it was in 2005 with 48-49k miles. The day after I bought it I changed the oil just as a precaution. The oil that came out looked good and was thin (as opposed to sludgy). She had a 50k service done in 2008 (still at or around 48-49k) that was $1,200. It consisted of new plugs, fuel filter, dif seal, trans fluid flush, etc. I have every receipt from when she owned it. She did tell me that it had a blown speaker when I bought it. I replaced the rear speaker this weekend (actually replaced both with new Pioneer 6.5" speakers).
.
If anyone needs any more pictures or would like to see it in person, just let me know. And if interested and would like to talk, shoot me an email and I'll forward you my contact info.
.
Samir saw it yesterday. He can post his honest opinion of it here if he'd like. It's very much a no-excuse car.

This car makes me wish I had a bigger garage. I had one almost identical, so much that I thought it might have been my old car.

Good luck with the sale.

Pristine car. The driver's side seat has less wear on it than my Porsche!

If you ever wanted an unmolested just stock version of one of these in automatic and black, this is it.

Thanks for the kind words.

I do try to keep my cars well maintained. Take this one for example. As mentioned, it had a blown speaker when I bought it, but went ahead and replaced both with Pioneers just to make it "right", even though I knew I'd be re-selling it. I have also buffed it out and put it in the garage during the day while I'm at work.

And the poor Mercedes is treated like the red-headed stepchild now that the golden child is back, lol.

Definitely a clean car. I saw it yesterday and was amazed how clean (and stock!) this car was.

After buffing, wash, and wax and interior touch up. Not bad for a 14 year old car. (now it's easier to see the factory orange peel in the paint...doh!) LOL

Wow I would almost trade my nova for it. Thats a pretty car. I have always liked the TA over the camero. They just have beautiful body lines.
