September 10th 07:00 AM to 09:30 AM
*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
Where: 100 Jetplex Blvd. SW, Huntsville, AL 35824
Contact: Ernie 256-656-0365

From last month's listing:

"We're planning to host a cars & coffee style meet and greet on August 20, from 7:00am until 9:30am (time to come out, have some coffee and chat, and still make it to any other car events that day). I know you're a good source for local club contacts so I'm requesting your help in getting the word out.

There are no registrations or fees, just a gathering of car fans to show off what you have and talk cars.

The location is 100 Jetplex Blvd. SW, Huntsville, AL 35824. GPS maps are wrong for the Jetplex Industrial Park, so those who do not know the area should use this
google maps link:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=100+Je...8&vpsrc=6&z=16

My cell number is 256-656-0365 in case anyone needs some help finding the place.

The Autism Resource Foundation will be providing coffee, etc, for a small fee or donation. For those clubs who might receive a forward of this email from Ben, the Autism Resource Foundation has received EuroBrit proceeds support from NABMS the past three years and is most appreciative.

There are about 125 parking places available and the access road behind the building belongs to the owner. In case anyone would like to trailer a car or project, just drop the car in a space and there's room to park the trailer out back.

So bring your car, maybe a folding chair, but don't stop at McDonalds for your coffee. Please support the Autism Resource Foundation."

From this post:

"We received many favorable comments suggesting we should do this again soon. The Autism Resource Foundation would like to host Cars and Coffee again on September 10th, same time, same place."

This is a great early morning event for a great cause. Wake up early and come check it out! You can sleep in on Sunday.

All proceeds help pay Huntsville Car Scene bills.

A late night made getting up early for this event harder than it needed to be. And I was a bit behind schedule arriving around 8am versus 7:30. But there were still cars rolling in, so the timing was just right.

And there was a good mix of cars, just like last time. Everything from drag racers, to vintage European marques, to American muscle.

I left early so I could get to the next event, but I still remember seeing a sweet Blue Camaro with silver stripes on its way over. Great event!

The next event date is still yet to be determined, but the second it's announced, I'll post it. See everyone next time!

I hate that I'm going to be at LS Fest this weekend. Maybe next time.

It's pretty awesome for so early in the morning. Well worth climbing out of bed that early--and I hate waking before 9, lol.

Been wanting something like this here for a while. Didn't know how to organize one myself. As I get up earlier than that during the week for work, that is actually sleeping in for me. Take a nap later. Was out of town (way out of town) during the first one and couldn't make it. See ya there.

I dunno about that. I've seen how early the breakfasts are to meet for car shows rollouts.

I emailed the club about the event, but it got no attention at all.

8AM is about the earliest you'll ever see them for breakfast...7 maybe if show is a bit of a drive..even a Tail of the Dragon trip is 7 or 8 if I'm not mistaken..the upcoming drive to Funfest in IL..1 member leaving at 5am...everybody else ...some 8:45am and some 2pm...It appears that when you retire you go back to childhood...stay up late and sleep in.
Now the Bridge Street Car Show some will be up by 5:30-6AM to get things set up..Madison Street Festival as well.
So when is the next Cars and Coffee here??

Cars and Coffee was from 7am-9:30am, so they could have made it.

I don't know about the next event, but I'll post it the second I find out about it.
