Ever since General Motors and Chrysler accepted government bailouts, Ford has been the nationís most popular auto manufacturer.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 73% of American adults have a favorable opinion of the Ford Motor Company. Just 51% say the same about General Motors, often derided by critics as Government Motors. Chrysler now earns positive reviews from 48%.

I have a more favorable view of them but it has nothing to do with their finances. I just think they "turned it around" quicker than the other domestics and therefore have put out the better products over the last five years or so. I'm still more of an import guy, though.

My stance as well. I'm impressed by their quality as of lately. Definitely on par with the Japanese makes because their quality has slipped quite a bit in the last decade or so.
