Nice Camaro, I like the color. A 1st gen SS grill emblem would really pop on that. What kind of camera did you get?

yeah i'm thinking about picking up the heritage grill, its only like $250 and looks great on them...

I ended up just buying a Fujifilm S3280 DSLR, it has a 24x Zoom and aperture settings of f/3.1 to f/8

I only paid $159 + tax for it, its a pretty good point and shoot

heck no... WAY too many uneven grades, etc. here for that... I had a SS Cobalt at STOCK height and struggled to keep from busting the Intercooler(which hang down a little lower than the "guard" under the car)

^ and that is as low as it was

Wow, that's terrible! I still keep looking at used versions of the cameras I still own. They were sooo expensive back in the day and to pick on up as a spare for less than $150 is great insurance. Here's a link to the same model as one of my Panasonics:
http://www.keh.com/camera/Panasonic-...990872430?r=FE

One of mine has over 80,000 photos on it. The other one has over 20,000. Both are a staple in the arsenal. This was a $500 camera back in 2005.

Newegg had a STEAL on the new Panasonic DMC-FZ47 around Thanksgiving. It was $189 shipped with a memory card and case. It took quite a few days to sell out. An AWESOME camera for the money. It's actually under $300 even at regular price. And it's competition the Canon SX40HS is around the same price.

Your shots are not bad at all for a sub-200 camera. But I can see jaggies in the images, and I'm not sure why.

One of these days when I'm not poor I'm going to buy a nice camera. Until then I'll keep using my cell phone (which actually takes pretty good pics, well atleast to me).

The best advice I can give here is 'don't upgrade until you need to'. It's like modifying a car for performance--if you can't tell the difference between modded and stock, better to save your money and improve your driving skill before you buy.

Well the main reason I don't have one is in the past when I have had a "point and shoot" type I always forgot it. Plus I never really take pics unless it's something stupid or funny for the most part.

If you don't think you'll get in the habit of toting it around everywhere, I'd actually just stick to the phone. The phone are getting to the point where pros are looking at them in a serious manner. Just check out the OWLE setup for the iphone:
