Yup, loads of work done and a LOT that has to be REdone. The whole bed is junk pretty much, a lot of it is warped. Part of the game I guess.

It happens. I know all too well how it is to pay people to do work and then have to do it right yourself.

I emailed Jireh Customs and i'll go see him as soon as I find time but we'll see what happens. I may have to wait until I gain some time off and then worry with it.

I'm a little worried about that curved shock mount. It seems like a lot of stress will hit the middle of that curve, making it want to bend up. Then again, the bed area is really light so maybe it's ok.

It's fine. I promise. While the guy was a joke to deal with...he was good at what he did. It just took WAY too long.

I'm trying to figure out what I can put into within the next few months. I keep seeing this yellow fullsize in Hartselle and a yellow s10 as well. Both are bagged. Makes me want mine.

I'm beginning to think about putting this into motion again. I'm not sure who I want to do the work, or even where abouts to have it done location wise. I need to put my seats in, shave a few things, and put it in primer/hot rod flatz to protect it a bit. I got a quote so I know about what it should cost and I have that money (finally) so I may be going about this pretty soon.

I really need a long weekend, and a trailer. I know there are a few things still to do before it goes to the shop so I will have to see about all that. I think it just needs some airline work...but I haven't worked on it in so long that I can't remember.

Dive back into it and you'll figure out where you left off. I try to keep notes on what needs to be done to my various cars as I don't always remember.

I know little shop of horrors in tn does great work. There's a lot of shops locally, but I'm not sure of anyone specializing in minitrucks.

Jud Guimarin(?) is one of the only people Locally that I would trust with anything mini related that won't be atmospherically high in price. He works at G&S and those guys are beasts with building some unreal customs. From Hot Rods to Minis they can do it all! I can shoot you his number if you want.

I got my brother to take a bunch of pics for me yesterday and it's a little better than I remember. At least I know it can air up and down with a fresh battery. I thought it was still all disconnected airline wise. The problem with jumping into it is that I live in an apartment which, from what I figure, doesn't allow working on vehicles in the lots. If I had a house up here, it would have come with me first trip. I've had such bad experiences with "shops" that I really don't know if I want to do that road again or not, but it's almost mandatory.

The truck is drivable, while things need to be done to make it road worthy for sure, it will drive and do fine. Just not sure all the money would be worth it.
