Ideas for car show door prizes?

Looking for what the car show participant fateful like to see given away for door prizes. We need to buy a few things for an upcoming show so we might as well get stuff people want right?!?

Also how do you feel about door prize tickets being sold to spectators? You will receive one or more tickets when registering, and then anyone that wants to buy tickets will be able to. Or do most prefer that only registered participants get the door prizes.

I don't like the idea of selling tickets for all door prizes. I mean if it cost $20-$25 to enter your car and you get one ticket, and someone buys $1 ticket and wins, it would make me irritated. However, if the entrants had other prizes only they could win, and you were to have 1 to 5 "grand" prizes that the entrants would get a ticket for included in the cost of showing the car, and then sold tickets for those specific prizes alone. I think that would be fair.

I always like getting car cleaning stuff, tools are a plus. I've won "discounts" or "free balances" before for local shops as well. The issue with that is, I am very picky with who I take my cars too, and most of the time it's far out of my way to go back to said area of the show. Also flash lights, and emergency roadside kits are something most people never keep in the car, but should have...

Anything car, tool or shop related. Could be home decor (picture, clock, shelf that are car related or shaped like a ride). There are many art items that are also tool related. Could be tin signs for the shop or garage. Could be tools (does a guy ever have enough tools?!). Could be gift certificates for an auto store or coupons for auto services (oil changes, tire rotation, etc) - but do not make for a specific store or location. The one receiving may not be from your area. If you could make for all locations (like any Big 10, Auto Zone, O'Reillys, etc would be better). I have seen some give gas cards (Texaco, Shell, Chevron, etc). How about free car wash (which I am sure would be used for our daily drivers)?

Ok so keep it car related... guess I'll just keep that 48" tv! Just kidding, no tv.
I see your point about competing to win the prizes, we'll try to work something out.

This is usually not a good idea at all. I've seen some very, very upset people at shows because of this.
