who else hates to see a car you owned up for sale

The guy that bought my Sunbird is selling it since his son lost interest. Part of me wants to go get the thing and bring it back home.

Anybody looking for a rare car that gets as much attention at a car show as a 15 grand camaro check this out. Gurantee the guy will yank your arm off if you offered 5 grand

Sold my racecar quite awhile back, then found out that it had been resold. Wish I could've snagged it back before the newest owner killed my custom paint job and wrecked it!

What's even worse is seeing a car you restored (62 Ford Falcon in my case) to show quality sitting behind a house rusting away and the owner won't sell it.

I owned a Mustang SVO for 22.5 years. I traded for work on another vehicle and actually came out on the losing end of the deal. The guy turned the boost WAY up and put a hole in the block and within 3 months of owning it he parted it out.

when I was in college, my dad talked me into getting rid of my 6-speed '96 Z/28(headers, cai, 3.73s, Lt4 hotcam)... it was getting on up in mileage(150,000 miles) and he advised me to get something better on gas and lower mileage since i'd be driving 50 miles a day to college 5 days a week... it pained me to get rid of it... and 3 days after I sold it, we found out it got totaled out by a 16 year old kid... which is why I will now put covers on all my sports cars when they get on up in mileage, i'll never sale another one

My first Supra, sold it to my best friend... Who then turned up the boost and blew the ring lands off. His father then donated it as a tax write off to a charity instead of selling it back to me.

The 79 Midget I currently own, I actually purchased back from the guy I sold it to - three years after he bought it from me. I regretted selling it and kept an eye out on Craigslist and eBay in case he ever decided to sell (I had lost his contact info). One day it popped up on eBay and I bought it back. It was in the same shape as when I sold it and gave him $600 less than what I sold it for.

You know, if you have a few to distribute the mileage on, none of them get to high mileage quickly.

What a great deal! He was able to enjoy the car for 3 years for $600, and you got all that cash to invest for 3 years. Win-win!
