Happy New Year from NAVWC!

Happy New Year from The North Alabama Volkswagen
Club! May your year be full of peace, joy and prosperity...
A quick heads-up...For those starting to block out
time for car shows, Bug'n in July 2006 will go to a two-day
show; this was one of the most frequent laments (as in,
"...Wow, I'd like to come but it's so far/Man, I just can't get
off that day..."). This will give the out-of towners justification
to make the trip, and give a second chance for those who must
miss one of the days. Block out July 15 and 16, "cause we want
to see y'all roll in deep!
Dolphe

PS I will be selling (VW toys) at this show, but the only other
show I'll sell at until then will be the HRC Antique and Collectible
show, Feb. 11 and 12 at the JayCees building. Email me off-board
at tygertyger17@hotmail.com for info/directions.

Blocking out the 15th and 16th. I'd like to be the official photographer again, so keep me in mind for that duty.

I would say it's a done deal, but I don't get to say...I'll be
sure to bring it up at the Tuesday night meeting; given how happy
everyone was with this year's photos I expect a big yes.
In the meantime, can you add July 15 and 16 to the event
calender (as Bug'n in July showdates)? I think the fifteenth is marked
as the monthly club GTG at present (which it would be, if not for the
show). This is true for H2O Tuning as well, and while I would think
that club would like to co-host this year's show, I don't want to speak
for them, as I'm not familiar with their plans for this year.

Sounds good. I'd really like to do it, as this event will get even more attention.

I usually like more information before I add it to the calendar such as times, location, and key contacts. If there is already a flyer for it, that usually has enough information for me to post a listing.

And again, like we did last year, I would like to be considered a sponsor of the event in exchange for running a banner for the show on my site. I think a banner running for months in advance will make sure everyone knows about the show.
