Good shop for a transmission rebuild?

Looks like the trans in my truck is on its last leg. Doesn't want to go in to reverse and when it does it is very weak (takes a lot of throttle to get it moving). I noticed today there was smoke coming from the dipstick after I tried to move it in reverse. I am pretty sure it is a 4L60E, it's a 95 chevrolet silverado with a 350. Where is a reliable shop in the area to have it rebuilt? At first I was thinking about an LS swap but I rarely drive the truck so I may just rebuild the trans and do a little refresh on the 350.

Call Bret 256-655-7505. He rebuilt my 95 GMC 1500 4L60E and it is doing great and pulling strong.

Looks like he changed numbers. Says it is not a working phone number. Des he work at a shop or something I could look up?

Thanks for the suggestions all. I don't need something that is going to handle high horsepower, just a stock rebuild that can survive pulling a car trailer.
