Who does chrome work?

Hey guys,

Did a quick search for powdercoaters and chrome guys and found some powdercoaters but also looking for someone who does chrome dipping. I have a few things I'm wanting chromed on a dirtbike I'm working on and wondering who in the area does a good job. I may end up getting the pieces in questions powdercoated with a chrome powder but I like the idea of getting it legit dipped a bit more.

Thanks a lot,
Sam

As far as I could find out, nobody around here will chrome plate unless it is for a contractor. Nearest place I could find is Florence that will do plating for small jobs. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Chrome is usually a 3 step plating process (Copper Nickel Chrome), not really just simply "dipped". Natural chrome by itself is usually dull. Here is the folks that did my chrome, it is not cheap. http://www.advancedplating.com/

This is who we used 14 years ago, and the grill and bumpers on our '55 F100 are still looking great
