If you want something done right and never flake off go to its not paint. They did my calipers 3yrs ago and they still look like new, after i wash them in hot soapy water. Quality work its not paint - wanna get by go to walmart get a couple paint cans and some clear. Just remeber you are in huntsville and you what happens to people that use paint cans lol.

But on the other hand you'll never have to worry about it again if you powder coat it.

Thats very true, it is all in the prep work, but powder coating is worth the price. Like clips said, 3 years later and they still look new, I did my calipers in paint after putting the in the parts cleaner and cooking them for 1 day, and they still only lasted about 6 months before time to do them again.

I have seen Powdercoat done the same way, I have a buddy that got his ValveCover Powdercoated and not even a week later it started flaking like paint would, when he took it back to the place that did the work, they said it was not thier fault and it was as is when it left their shop. But I do think that powdercoat is worth the money. I would not pay for it, but for someone that is doing a show worthy vehicle like some of you guys, it would be worth it, depending on the price. One of you FASHO guys find out from Tom about How much it would be to powdercoat, 2 approximatly 4ft Tubular lower 4 link bars, and let us know.

www.aspowdercoating.com

A good resource to check out if your looking for some powdercoating and you dont mind driving a little bit to Hartselle Alabama off 36. Its about a 30-45 minute drive from Huntsville/Madison Alabama, but they are great at what they do and way better priced. I have had two toolboxes redone and he only charged me $100 each and they look great. A&S Powdercoating is the website and ask for Cody.
