Mazda 3 Hatch custom sub box (amp + sub)

I built this for our Mazda 3. Made from good quality 5 ply birch plywood - no flex and it has been in the car for around 6 years. This allows you to remove the spare tire, remote the cargo cover and fold the seats down without removing the sub. It fits in our 2006 mazda but I am not sure about other years.

Comes with a Sony Xplod XM-1502SX and a shallow mount Earthquake SWS 10" sub. It is a sealed enclosure.

These pictures are before I carpeted it. It fits snugly under the cargo cover and up against the back seat (this is a different amp)

It rests on the 4 cargo tie downs using a bar, bolts and wing nuts. It is very secure once mounted. To remove, take the 4 wing nuts off, disconnect the Amp, remote the cargo cover, fold the seats down and lift. It only takes a minute or two.

Here it is now.

Asking $250 OBO.
