There are definitely quite a few Prelude owners out there. Maybe just not checking this thread or online in general. There are still more car people not online in Huntsville than those online.

cool.

@ bagged - im just wanting to hook up with some local lude owners. swap stories, ideas, etc. show each others cars off.

maybe a run over green mountain and a photo shoot at ditto, or something easy like that one weekend.

This is my old car, it is\was a 88' Prelude SI 4WS. I loved this car!!! It was so much fun to drive. I had just enough work done to it to have fun with it on the weekends at the track\street, and still use it as a nice daily. I sold the car to a guy that completely ragged it out. Like a month after I sold it to him he tore out the gears in the Tranny. He tryed to blame it on me, but I drove that car DAILY and never had a problem with it. He just did not know how to drive the car, he wanted to go "Balls to the Wall" everywhere he went. You just cant do that with a 17 year old car. But oh well, I have a nicer car now, but still wish I had my baby back.lol

Ha, I had a 88 Prelude S. With the Si Package. I love that Car.. But I blow the Engine.. At 125 mph... And I got bet by Two Girls in a 91 Acura Int. GS. So I Sold it For the Escort Gt... The Prelude was My First Car. The Only thing I didn't Like about the car. Was that the Back end Would get loss at High speed around Turns.

Blak you should check out Team Imterlude's website. They are a website dedicated to every Gen of Prelude. You will probabaly have better luck on that site finding some folks in the surrounding area's that have ludes. Here is a link to thier site:http://www.teaminterlude.com/

I read the write up on the suspension. Very clean. Did you just paint the sway bars and such or have them powdercoated? How hard was it to change the bushings in those control arms? Probably wasn't fun at all...

was not fun or hard.... it just took some money.

LBJ pressed the new bushings, disassembled the struts and gave her the alignment.

snakcatcher came by the house several times to help and mananage as well

Thank you for the info on LBJ. I'll check them out when I get a chance...or when my motor falls out of the car, whichever comes first, lol.

For some reason, your username registration isn't validated. That's why you can't email me by clicking on my user name. I'm going to have the system re-send the validation email, but in the meantime, you can reach me via the "Contact Us" link below.
